【摘要】:Guidanceforthedesigner/manufacturer/supplierinplanningandimplementingcontrolsforthedesignandmanufactureoflithium-ion(Li-ion)andlithium-ionpolymer(Li-ionpolymer)rechargeablebatterypacksusedforportablecomputingisprovided.Thisstandard'sprovisionsworktogether,andtheydefineapproachestodesign,test,andevaluateacell,batterypack,andhostdevicetomitigatebatterysystemfailureinuserenvironments.Additionally,thisstandardprovidesrecommendationsforend-usereducationandcommunicationmaterials.Thisapproachsuggeststheinterfacesbetweensubsystems(e.g.,cell,batterypack,hostdevice)andendusersareasimportanttosystemreliabilityasisrobustsubsystemdesignandtesting.Thisstandardthereforeincludessubsysteminterfacedesignresponsibilitiesforeachsubsystemdesigner/manufacturer/supplier,anditprovidesmessagingandcommunicationprovisionsforend-user.
