【摘要】:Sulfurispartoftheultimateanalysisofcoalandcoke.Resultsofthesulfuranalysisareusedforevaluationofcoalpreparationandcleaning,evaluationofpotentialsulfuremissionsfromcoalandcokecombustionorconversionprocesses,andevaluationofcoalandcokequalityinrelationtocontractspecifications,aswellasforscientificpurposes.ThecompetencyoflaboratorieswithrespecttouseofthisstandardcanbeestablishedthroughreferencetoPracticeD7448.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofsulfurinsamplesofcoalorcokebyhigh-temperaturetubefurnacecombustion.1.2Whenautomatedequipmentisusedtheprocedurecanbeclassifiedasaninstrumentalmethod.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
