【摘要】:ThisPartofBS7567specifiesaneutraltransferformat,NTF,thatcomprises:a)media-independentfileanddatarecorddescriptionsforinformationexchange;b)thedescriptionofdataelements,vectorsandarrayscontainingcharacterstringsandnumericforms,andrelationshipsbetweendataelements;c)volumeandheaderinformationthatenabledatainterchangetooccurwithminimalspecificexternaldescription;d)fivelevelsofinterchange,relatedtothecomplexityofthedatatobetransferred.Part2specifiestheimplementationofplainNTFandPart3,theimplementationusingBS6690.NTFfacilitatesthetransferofspatialandrelatedaspatialinformationbetweencomputersystems.Thismayincludedigitaltopographicmaps,digitalterrainmodelsandafullrangeofgeographicdatabasecontents.Itisnotdesignedforthepermanentstorageofdataonanyspecificsystem.Itprovidesthemeansfordescribingthecontentsofdatarecords,butdoesnotdefinetheircontents.
