【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesrequirementsforanenvironmentalmanagementsystemtoenableanorganizationtodevelopandimplementapolicyandobjectiveswhichtakeintoaccountlegalrequirementsandotherrequirementstowhichtheorganizationsubscribes,andinformationaboutsignificantenvironmentalaspects.Itappliestothoseenvironmentalaspectsthattheorganizationidentifiesasthosewhichitcancontrolandthosewhichitcaninfluence.Itdoesnotitselfstatespecificenvironmentalperformancecriteria.ThisInternationalStandardisapplicabletoanyorganizationthatwishestoa)establish,implement,maintainandimproveanenvironmentalmanagementsystem,b)assureitselfofconformitywithitsstatedenvironmentalpolicy,c)demonstrateconformitywiththisInternationalStandardby1)makingaself-determinationandself-declaration,or2)seekingconfirmationofitsconformancebypartieshavinganinterestintheorganization,suchascustomers,or3)seekingconfirmationofitsself-declarationbyapartyexternaltotheorganization,or4)seekingcertification/registrationofitsenvironmentalmanagementsystembyanexternalorganization.AlltherequirementsinthisInternationalStandardareintendedtobeincorporatedintoanyenvironmentalmanagementsystem.Theextentoftheapplicationdependsonfactorssuchastheenvironmentalpolicyoftheorganization,thenatureofitsactivities,productsandservicesandthelocationwhereandtheconditionsinwhichitfunctions.ThisInternationalStandardalsoprovides,inAnnexA,informativeguidanceonitsuse.
