【摘要】:1.1ThistestmethodcoverstheuseofX-rayfluorescence(XRF)fordeterminingthecoatingweight(mass)ofmetalliccoatingsonsteelsheet.Thetestmethodisintendedtobeusedforx201C;on-linex201D;measurementsofcoatingoncontinuousproductionlines.1.2ThistestmethodisapplicabletothecoatingscoveredbythefollowingASTMspecifications:A599/A599M,A623,A623M,A653/A653M,A792/A792M,A875/A875M,A879/A879M,A918,andA924/A924M.Itmaybeapplicabletoothercoatings,providingthattheelementalnatureofthecoatingandsubstratearecompatiblewiththetechnicalaspectsofXRFsuchastheabsorptioncoefficientofthesystem,primaryradiation,fluorescentradiation,typeofdetection.1.3Thistestmethodincludestheprocedurefordevelopingasinglestandarddeterminationofcoatingweight(mass).1.4ThistestmethodincludesproceduresforbothX-raytubeandisotopecoatingweight(mass)measuringinstruments.1.5Thevaluesstatedineitherinch-poundunitsorSIunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Withinthetext,theSIunitsareshowninbrackets.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemarenotexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemshallbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnonconformancewiththespecification.1.6Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.

【摘要】:1.1Thisfire-test-responsestandardisdesignedforusetodeterminevariousfire-test-responsecharacteristics,includingignitabilityandheatreleaserate,fromcompositesofmattressesorfurniture,orcorrectionalfacilities,whichhavebeenvandalizedinaprescribedmannertoexposethefillingmaterial,byusingabenchscaleoxygenconsumptioncalorimeter.1.2Thistestmethodprovidesformeasurementsofthetimetosustainedflaming,heatreleaserate,peakandtotalheatrelease,andeffectiveheatofcombustionataconstantradiantheatfluxof35kW/m.1.3Theapparatususedinthistestmethodisalsocapableofdeterminingheatreleasedataatdifferentheatfluxes.1.4Thespecimenisorientedhorizontallyandasparkignitionsourceisused.1.5Allfire-test-responsecharacteristicsaredeterminedusingtheapparatusandtheproceduresdescribedinTestMethodE1354.1.6Thetestsaredoneonbench-scalespecimenscombiningthemattressorfurnitureouterlayercomponents.Frameelementsarenotincluded.1.7Thevandalismissimulatedbycausingaprescribedcutontheouterlayerofthecomposite,deepenoughtoexposethefillingmaterialtotheincidentradiation.1.8ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.1.9Thisstandardshouldbeusedtomeasureanddescribetheresponseofmaterials,productsorassembliestoheatandflameundercontrolledconditionsandshouldnotbeusedtodescribeorappraisethefirehazardorfireriskofmaterials,productsorassembliesunderactualfireconditions.However,resultsofthistestmaybeusedaselementsofafirehazardorfireriskassessmentwhichtakesintoaccountallofthefactorswhicharepertinenttoanassessmentofthefirehazardorfireriskofaparticularenduse.1.10Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.

【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiessafetyrequirementsandtheirverificationbytestingforthedesignandconstructionofportable,hand-held,internalcombustionenginedriven,cut-offmachines,intendedtobeusedbyasingleoperatorinthecuttingofconstructionmaterials,suchasasphalt,concrete,stoneandmetal.Itisapplicabletothosemachinesdesignedpurposelyforusewitharotating,bonded-abrasiveand/orsuperabrasive(diamond)cut-offwheelhavingamaximumoutsidediameterof406mm,centre-mountedon,anddrivenby,aspindleshaft,wherethetopofthewheelrotatesawayfromtheoperator(seeFigure1).ThisInternationalStandarddealswithallsignificanthazardsrelatedtothehand-helduseofsuchmachines(seeClause4).Itspecifiesmethodsfortheeliminationorreductionofhazardsarisingfromtheiruse,aswellasthetypeofinformationonsafeworkingpracticestobeprovidedwiththemachines.Cut-offmachinesdesignedinaccordancewiththisInternationalStandardareintendedtobeusedbypersonswhohavereadandunderstoodthesafetyrequirementsgiveninthe“instructionhandbook”andwhousetheappropriatepersonalprotectiveequipment(PPE).Exceptfornoise,environmentalaspectsarenotconsideredbythisInternationalStandard;norarecut-offwheelspecificationsgiven—forsuchspecifications,see,forexample,EN12413andEN13236.ThisInternationalStandardisnotapplicabletomachinesmanufacturedbeforethedateofitspublication.
